Dirt Mansion tutorial

In this blog I´m going to show you how to build this dirt mansion in minecraft (I used version 1.14.4).

This is my first post so please feel free to correct me or give me some ideas in comments. (Please excuse my English, it´s not my native language)

First and most important step is to create the base platform of your mansion. As you can see I have already created the front wall with entrance to set a pattern between dirt and cobblestone blocks, and to see how how high the walls need to be. Each cobblestone pillar is 4 blocks high.

Step 1

Now, when you know how you want your mansion to look like, continue adding 1 glass block to finish all windows and add dirt blocks until the walls are 4 blocks high. You can also put torches between the windows to light the interior before making roof.

Step 2

Next, make each cobblestone pillar 6 blocks high by adding 2 more cobblestones on top of your walls. As you can see, I put cobblestone blocks all around the walls to create visible division between 1st and 2nd floor.

When you´re done with outer walls you can start to divide rooms by making dirt walls and putting doors where the rooms will be.

Step 3

Make roof by filling in the area of cobblestone outline. I used dirt blocks. You can also make the process faster with /fill command.

Step 4

Now you can finish up the interior by creating walls between rooms and making stairs.

Step 5

I decided to make a little shed above the stairs to stop rain from going inside of the mansion and I decorated it with some rose bushes.

Step 6

Now you can decorate your roof however you want and turn it into a practical garden.

Step 7

Lastly, add furniture and decorations into the rooms.

Step 8

And you´re done!
